Project Members

As well as the projects of the association, we have project members – projects in these valleys whose work is aligned with our regenerative objectives.

See what they’re doing …

MAGIC VALLEY

HAICO LAEVEN

In the middle of Portugal you can find a little magical valley where you can volunteer to help the beekeeper who lives here. This little patch of magical valley starts at the river and covers a hill with a watermill ruin, an animal shed, lots of trees, bushes, wild plants and brambles. And bees.

QUINTA DA ROSA

CAMILA GANC & TOM ADEY

Quinta da Rosa is an early stage holistic project, designed to experiment and work with reforestation, food production and natural building projects. Moving towards and exploring a more organic, sustainable, self sufficient way of living, taking into account the local resources, community, diversity and history. Volunteers are welcome to explore and develop these ideas with us.

VIDA EM TRANSIÇÃO

RICARDO GONÇALVES & TERESA LEITE

We are a family of 4 that came from Oporto. In search of who we are we found the Awakened Life Project, we fell in love with our own evolution and potential, we left our jobs, we found that we were pregnant, we decided to move from the city for the country side and we came to live in a small village in Central Portugal, called Esculca… We are creating our new life every day, evermore inspired by our own potential…
